Saying our new Fellows for 2013

It’s with nice pleasure that I announce that Sandy Salama from community member The Lead Basis (Egypt) has been chosen as the primary community consultant within the Girls’s World Banking Fellowship Program. Sandy will be a part of the Girls’s World Banking International Workforce for 2 years starting in July, finishing varied rotational assignments all through the group. Sandy brings intensive discipline expertise to Girls’s World Banking after serving as Advertising and Communications Officer and Government Assistant at The Lead Basis for six years. Previous to The Lead Basis Sandy held a number of completely different positions at Sanabel, the microfinance community for the MENA area. We’re excited to welcome Sandy to the Girls’s World Banking crew in New York!

 I’m additionally thrilled to announce that Liannette Perez, Girls’s World Banking’s Compliance Affiliate, was chosen via a rigorous interview course of from 120 certified candidates for the second Fellowship place. Liannette was the primary inside candidate to use; she joined Girls’s World Banking final 12 months, shortly establishing the group’s first formalized procurement and compliance initiative. We’re very pleased with Liannette and need her nice success with this system.
